Rashida

EDUCATIONAL COACH

With over 14 years of experience in STEM education, I have dedicated myself to teaching and guiding K-12 and higher education students. My academic background includes a Master's degree in Chemistry with a Minor in Mathematics. Currently on the path to becoming a physician, my academic pursuits have been driven by a keen interest in unraveling the foundational principles that govern the natural world and how scientific concepts shed light on these phenomena.

Central to my teaching approach is the belief in providing individualized attention and cultivating a nurturing learning atmosphere. I firmly advocate for tailoring each teaching session to accommodate the unique requirements and learning preferences of my students, aiming for profound comprehension of concepts not simply memorization.

Whether you are gearing up for an examination, grappling with a complex assignment, or seeking to deepen your grasp of science and mathematics, I am committed to assisting you in achieving your educational objectives. Let us embark on this educational journey together.

EDUCATIONAL COACH

I am a passionate elementary teacher candidate and childcare provider. I love creating a unique learning environment for my students by demonstrating unwavering acceptance, warmth, and humor. This allows for them to have a space where they can truly be themselves. With over ten years of experience working with children and nearly three years of experience tutoring, I have gained the utmost confidence in my skills as a leader and as a reliable voice for my students. Through working with families of a variety of cultures, needs, and wishes, I am used to adapting to any environment. I want you to know that I was also a student who received 10 years of tutoring, since I struggled with math my whole life. I have been there where I failed tests, felt close to no confidence in math as a young child, and felt behind compared to my fellow classmates. But, what mattered was that my parents wanted me to get there, to reach success in math, and my tutors became a saving grace for me. I am excited to continue that opportunity for others! My teaching philosophy stems from the firm belief that providing students with a safe and comfortable learning environment is key to helping them reach their academic and personal goals.
